Floating Hotel in Sweden

Salt & Sill is located far out on the island KlĂ€desholmen, north of Gothenburg on the beautiful Swedish west coast. 
They are Swede´s first floating hotel. Six cubic houses are built on pontoons and is floating outside the restaurant. The hotel consists of six two-storey buildings on floating pontoons. The hotel has 23 rooms with 46 beds, one of which is a suite. All the rooms have their own entrance and access to an outdoor seating area.


They also have a sauna-boat, a miniature copy of the floating hotel. The 11.9 x 6.5 meter large building is made of lightweight fibre-glass, and secured to a catamaran platform. It is powered by two 160 hp diesel engines from Volvo Penta, and reaches up to  of 15 knots. It can be used as a relax area, conference room, and wedding suite.
